Privacy and confidentiality

Your sample and data are a trust with us

Confidentiality is not optional for us; it is a requirement of the law we operate under. Here we explain what we collect, why, and who sees it.

What we collect from you

  • When you book: your name, your phone number, the type of test, and any message you write in the form.
  • When the sample is taken: the sample itself, identity verification for paternity testing, and the sample documentation record.
  • We do not use any tracking or advertising tools on this website. The only exception is Google Maps, and it only appears when you request it.

Why we collect it

To contact you about your request, to carry out and document the test under the German genetic testing law, and to deliver your result. We do not use your data for anything else.

Who sees the result

Only you, or someone you authorise in writing. We do not give the result or sample data to anyone, including family members, except with your authorisation or by legal order.

Where the sample is tested

At Heidelberg University Hospital in Germany. The sample is sent sealed and documented, matched on arrival, and is subject there to Germany’s strict genetic data protection laws.

How long we keep it

We keep order and result data for as long as the service and follow-up require, and as laws require, then we destroy them. You can request access to your data, correction or deletion, as permitted by law, via info@genatydna.com.

Maps

The branch map does not appear automatically. It loads from Google Maps only when you click ‘Show on map’ or click one of the branches, and then Google’s policy applies to what the map loads. Alternatively, you can open the address directly in your maps app.
